Steve Quach, MD founded Chimera Leadership Group (CLG) with the knowledge that investment in health care leaders creates enormous positive outcomes for those leaders and their organizations. He has over 20 years of health care leadership experience. Prior to founding CLG, Dr. Quach spent almost a decade as the CEO of CarePoint Health, a multi-specialty physician group which is headquartered in Colorado and Utah, providing services across the nation. Dr. Quach was previously the Chief Medical Officer at Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center (P/SL) in Denver, Colorado and Vice President/Chief Medical Officer for the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) Health System in Galveston, Texas. He is proud to have also been a founder of the Physician Leadership Academy at UTMB.

In 2019, he co-authored a book titled “The DNA of Physician-Leadership” which describes the challenges of transitioning from clinician to leader while offering insights into the core competencies most crucial to successful physician-leadership. Dr. Quach brings years of experience in coaching health care leaders and is a certified executive coach through Columbia University’s 3CP coaching program.

Molly DeShazo

No stranger to hyper-growth, Molly scaled global teams at early Uber, Meta, and Accel.

Before coaching, Molly built her career in lightning-fast, high-pressure, and continuously-innovating environments. No stranger to hyper-growth, Molly scaled global teams at early Uber, Meta, and Accel. In each of these complex organizations, she navigated teams through change, led for results, and managed with empathy.

Molly has coached top executives across various industries, including healthcare, AI, technology, biotech, financial services, and media. She stretches leaders to close the gap between values and action, strengthen emotional intelligence, identify blind spots, and uplevel performance.

Her process is tailored to individual goals and underpinned by Columbia University’s 3CP methodology. Grounded in research, her approach centers on how humans are wired and the behaviors needed to drive lasting transformation in complicated and unpredictable environments.

Scott Markowitz, MD, MSOL

Two decades developing academic physician leaders.

Scott Markowitz, MD, MSOL (he, him, his) is an executive coach with expertise in professional development, leadership development, and medical education. Dr. Markowitz has years of experience in coaching leaders and high-performing teams, and has been developing academic physician leaders for 20 years.

Dr. Markowitz’s leadership experience in academic medicine includes the role of Vice-Chair for Professional Development and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Washington University in St. Louis, and Associate Vice-Chair for Faculty Development at the University of Colorado. He co-directed Leadership for Innovative Team Science on the Anschutz Medical Campus, and has led, taught, and coached training programs on leadership, professional development, and DEI.

Dr. Markowitz earned his Doctor of Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis, his master’s degree in organizational leadership from Colorado State University Global Campus, and completed his executive coaching certification at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.
